About

Episode draws on the human desire for safety and clarity to unleash a technicolour sequence of riotous relationships and private revelations. From suburban domesticity to Arctic wilderness, Episode is a darkly atmospheric experience that revels in the highs and lows of humanity. Episode features live on-stage music by pianist Niko Meinhold and Andrew Plummer's deep, deep voice, alongside an eerie soundtrack by Ben and Max Ringham. The collaborative team also includes exceptional dancers Valentina Formenti, Inn Pang Ooi and Eva Recacha Garcia; and is completed by Hannah Clark's fantastical designs and uncanny lighting from Chahine Yavroyan. Frauke Requardt is a German, London-based choreographer, recently winning national acclaim for 2010 hit Electric Hotel. Anarchic and surreal with a seasoning of dark humour, Frauke is a Work Place Artist at The Place and Associate Artist at Greenwich Dance, and has created work for the Young Vic, Sadler's Wells and The Place Prize.
