An exhibition of figurative painting and drawing by Francis Martin. In this recent work themes and ideas are explored around portraiture. The exhibition provides a cross section of work, incorporating different styles and techniques employed by Francis during his investigation into the subject over the past couple of years. The exhibition comprises of paintings, large-scale charcoal drawings and more intimate studies and sketchbook work. After studying at the Winchester School of Art, Francis Martin has won the Young Artist of the Year Award twice. He has exhibited across London and the South, and had his work in various glossy magazines.
