Recent Activity are proud to present France-Lise McGurn 'Rabbit', and would like to invite you to the opening at 82 Floodgate Street, Digbeth, Birmingham on Thursday 10th August.

About

For our third show in the project space, France-Lise will present new work responding to the space. The exhibition will run from 11 August - 15 September, open Thursday - Saturday 12 - 5pm.

France-Lise McGurn’s solo exhibition brings together studio-made works alongside drawings and paintings made directly in and onto the space.


Kewpie is Leviathan is the fairy baby is a bunny is a rabbit is a wabbit is a devil is a sexy kitten halloween costume.

Sch-wing, swing, swingin mood swings

and whilst the pink drumming energiser bunny is just a bunny, the duracell bunny is a whole species

France-Lise McGurn lives and works in Glasgow. She graduated with a BA from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 2005 and with an MA from the Royal College of Art in 2012. Recent Exhibitions include Archaos, solo, Alison Jacques Gallery, London, Le Nouveau Voyeurisime, Group exhibition, Hotel Contemporary, Milan, Sexting, Group Exhibition, Kate Werble Gallery, NY, The Old Things, Group Exhibition, Galerie Crevecoeur, Paris, France, Mondo Throb Solo, Bosse and Baum, London, McGurn is currently on show at Tate St. Ives where she is presenting a site-specific wall painting in the stairwell called Collapsing New People that spans the height of the building.

McGurn also runs a club night residency at the poetry club in Glasgow, in collaboration with Katie Shannon, called DAISIES, where they invite DJs and artists to contribute to the decor and installation.
