This exhibition is formed of a collection of multi-disciplinary fine artists, each exploring the theme of memory in a broad context.
About
‘Fragments’ displays ciphers of memory as though hidden pieces of a great puzzle, presenting a wider comprehension of extended issues. Whilst the memories explored are unique, their surrounding topics evoke a curiosity around memory itself and also their contextual foundations. Whilst memories are fundamentally restricted from the realms of common property, they are able to transcend their subjection when translated into visual art pieces. Pastiches of authentic experience allow for the dispersion of ideas to a platform beyond the minds of the artist. Each new reading paves the way for a new interpretation and understanding. New memories created. New fragments appearing.
