Clare Price in conversation with Jon Sharples from the Simmons and Simmons painting collection. Supported by Marcelle Joseph's GIRLPOWER Collection, Fragility Spills includes essays by Cairo Clarke and Stephanie Moran and photographs by Clare Price and Benjamin Whitley.
Painter Clare Price presents the photographic and online aspect of her practice for the first time. Alongside her large-scale paintings on canvas will be projected sequences of photographs, which reveal hidden performances within the artist’s studio. Exploring the dynamics of fragility and power, control and release, Price also engages in the creation of safe spaces, both physical and online, in which to make and disseminate her work.
Fragility Spills on display at ASC Gallery until 20th December, generously supported by Arts Council England and Marcelle Joseph's Girlpower Fund.
Publication launch: 12th December, 6-9pm
Exhibition continues: Monday – Friday, 10–5pm until 20th December
