Greta will be reading from her latest poetry collection Tomorrow’s Woman – an exploration into love, gender, identity and motherhood.
About
Enjoy an evening listening to the work of one of Britain’s most exciting modern poets. Born in London, Greta Bellamacina is an actress, filmmaker and poet who was short-listed for Young Poet Laureate of London in 2014. She has published several poetry books in the UK, including Kaleidoscope, Perishing Tame, Collected Poems 2015-2017 and her latest work, Tomorrow’s Woman. She recently wrote and directed Hurt by Paradise, which was nominated for Best British Feature Film at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, and Best UK Feature Film at Raindance.
She will be joined by the poet Robert Montgomery. The pair run a successful publishing company, The New River Press, described as "one of the UK's edgiest and most exciting poetry imprints", together they give poets a platform to speak and share, always keeping the artists close to the art
