About
Focus LDN, an arts organisation representing local artists, are collaborating with Forever Beta, an independent creative and innovation agency, which champions local creative culture. Throughout 2019, they will be hosting a series of artist solo exhibitions at the Forever Beta studios - these Forever in Focus exhibitions will feature the most promising Focus LDN artists.
So who is Tom Cox? A London born (b.1990) contemporary painter who is gaining rapid recognition for his paintings of our urban landscape. His paintings capture the character, nuance and physicality of life in the capital. Having featured in the Evening Standard, the Guardian and tipped as one to watch in 2019 by Artists & Illustrators Magazine, his popularity amongst collectors continues to grow.
With sights set on this upcoming exhibition in Shoreditch, Cox is out painting our East end, London’s technological heart and melting pot of creativity. Expect scenes of old boozers being moved in on by modern high rise developments, local gems and bustling Brick Lane. And not only that, but he set himself the challenge to create a body of nine unique new paintings within 4.5 weeks!
His Shoreditch Collection will be unveiled for the first time on Thursday 11th April from 6-9pm at the Forever Beta studios in Shoreditch.
