Participate in this workshop (in person & online) led by Omar Ferwati, research coordinator at Forensic Architecture, and explore theories and methods that can enable citizen-led forensic investigations into contemporary conflicts, and life around them.

About

Learn about the process of Forensic Architecture through reviews of select investigations. Ferwati will share how he uses these methods to study how people used architecture to survive conflict in Syria through his concept of ‘civilian crisis architecture.’ A series of short tutorials will introduce hands-on investigative methods and techniques used by Forensic Architecture such as open-source research, spatial analysis, geolocation, verification, and media analysis.

Materials, and links for the workshop will be shared with participants one week before the event.
