Stunning new work by award winning artist Julie Ellis
About
. FORCE OF NATURE features over forty new works delivering not only the huge atmospheric canvases for which Julie is reknown but also a selection of small ephemeral abstracts which seem to hum and hover in mid-air like tiny galaxies suspended in space.
A graduate of Plymouth College of Art Julie is currently studying for her Masters at Plymouth University where she is enjoying the challenge of developing new skills and honing her craft. An intuitive painter she captures the fleeting moments of memory of place and time, of our place in nature and the world around us. Turneresque skies swoop and swirl above hints of landscape where shapes seem to move and transform before your eyes. This collection of new work is a masterclass in translating the language of nature onto the canvas and Julie continues to be a young artist in which to invest.
