Folklore. The Four Seasons
Light summer breeze lifted transparent curtain, uncovering opened window with purple heads of phloxes poking from outside.
Flavor of honey and dried grass floated inside, touching the face.
At the bed, on the table at the orange glass vase with pine branch sticking out, perhaps it remembers seaside dunes. Azure cover of the magazine, forgotten for a year, still laying on my bed table.
Sometimes it is all You need for exhibition vision and idea to be born. Warm waft of wind, sunshine leading gaze into the distance, deeper down the labyrinth of memories, or archives of images seen. Woken imagination, passion for life, for surroundings opens world filled with myriads of images, lights and forms.
Exhibition “Folklore. The Four Seasons” presents artworks connected with certain theme, person or place. Gallery space divided into four parts dedicated for separate collections with different image development mood accompanied with short texts.
“Folklore” stands here as ironic connotation empowering to take a look at ourselves, to laugh a bit at those, who overestimate their self-importance, although they are really important as lessons for everyone in our constantly racing days.
Painting creates images, forms and stories representing life events, providing them with the sense of universality, along with elaborating esthetic thinking.
Artworks represented at this exhibition are created during year 2017 to 2020.
