PARADICE PALASE is pleased to host Flux, a curatorial collaboration between Lesbians Are Miracles and Oasis Studios member Courtney Dudley featuring the work of queer, New York-based artists; on view November 6th to November 21st in the gallery.
About
The collection of paintings, assemblage, textile, sculpture, and photography explores the ever-changing environments that have become our norm, from fleeting moments of youthful innocence, shifting identities, and the disequilibrium of the human body to dwindling queer and lesbian spaces, planned obsolescence, waste, and the increasing threat of climate change. These instabilities are the lens through which we confront the impermanence of our existence. Because the only constant is change, we invite artists and viewers to embrace and find grounding in our ever-fluctuating world.
