We are proud to present a installation of two new sculptures and five drawings by Florence Judd. Untitled: Wall Sculpture is a study in weight and tension comprised of twenty-five large painted gesso slabs. Supported by cables the three metre high sculpture arches imposingly out from the gallery wall. The second sculpture, Poise, also illustrates the artist's engagement with the physics of load bearing materials and our encounters with these in the gallery space. -- Son Gallery invites Following the success of Alex Shepherd's installation Suspended Exhalation, Son Gallery invites has been set up as an evolving series of exhibitions, installations and events to compliment the gallery's main programme. The series intends to give artists, curators, and speakers the opportunity to test new ideas in a welcoming environment. Details of future events will be posted on our website.
