Features work from a large range of disciplines from installation, performance, fine art, photography, sculpture and other visual arts. The work on show celebrates the talent pouring from universities and colleges annually, and displays the best work of this year’s graduate class. Exhibited on the five floors of this iconic warehouse building, this four-day exhibition is free and open to the public and benefits from the heavy footfall of visitors and tourists along London’s South Bank.

About

About. FloatArt London is an organisation supported by the National Funding Scheme, founded by two passionate art lovers and long-time supporters of graduate artists. Davide Mengoli, a former Director and founder of GX Gallery and Dr Anand Saggar, a leading clinical geneticist and Chair of the Arts Committee at St George’s Hospital. Both founders of FloatArt London are passionate about providing graduate artists with the support and advice they need as they leave university and enter into the professional art world.

Location. Returning in its third year, FloatArt London is once again showcasing the work of selected graduate artists in Bargehouse, The Oxo Tower Wharf.

Competition. All artists featured will be eligible to win the FloatArt London prize. Decided through a public vote, the winner of the vote receives a contribution of £3000 towards the beginning of a successful career. The competition allows the audience to have a hand in supporting a future career of an arts graduate.

Other Benefits. A programme of seminars and talks throughout the four day event. The programme, delivered by experienced artists and successful business people, will give artists direction and career advice. Sponsors such as Riccardo Zacconi, the founder of King Digital Entertainment, will be among the speakers.
