A solo show of new oil paintings by Mark Sofilas. Mark began his career in Australia in 1981 and now paints from his studio in Leeds. His preferred medium is oil with bold direct use of colour and he enjoys exploring the intrinsic geometry of familiar landscapes and subtle change in lighting throughout the day to the delight of the viewer. Art in the Mill has been showing his work for three years and has seen his paintings gain wider and wider recognition across the country in that time.Mark has produced some 26 oil paintings for this exciting first solo show.
