Louisiana has an ambitious acquisitions policy and every year, with the support of generous foundations and private donors, adds new works of art to the collection in the fields of both contemporary and classic modern art. In 2016 Louisiana highlights the presentation of the collection with two major exhibitions of the new acquisitions of the past three years with the emphasis on contemporary art.
The first exhibition, Fire Under Snow, launches a number of new video works and films in The East Wing of the museum. Set to be a grand tour of the moving pictures of video art, here you will be sorrounded by captivating stories about people, history and society, visions and the future.
