Fiona Pearce: Artist in Focus

Fiona Pearce portrays Farnham landscape like no other. Fiona's work is known for their vibrant energy and the space transforming colours. This exhibition introduces Fiona's new technique: her paintings are designed on the iPad, breaking the imagery down into shapes, with the composition being key, and taking time over the palette combinations. When she is happy with the result on the screen, she applies layers of paint, mixing the palette on the canvas with as broad a brush stroke as possible. This helps to create what Fiona likes to think of as organised chaos and energy. The application of trees as the final layer brings a sense of order and balance to the painting.
