Inspired by a cloud machine created by Karolina Sobecka, Cloudbusting investigates clouds as both physical and metaphorical objects.
Cloudbusting features 12 artists, musicians, filmmakers, and curators from the KN community. Using multiple mediums, participants examine how clouds influence the lives of those tethered to the earth’s surface. Installations include a cloud diary, volcano music, a machine that hopes to produce — and another that destroys — clouds, bacterial blooms, weather writing, salami shades, a fly in cloudsoup….
Coinciding with our birthday, Cloudbusting celebrates not only the passage of time, but the past two years of exhibiting exciting art and working with wonderful friends. We hope you can join us.
