Third year Fine Art students from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) will be hosting their annual Fine Art Auction on the 5th March, to raise funds for this year’s degree show. As well as the traditional exhibition of the degree show at AUB, we will take our work to Free Range, Brick Lane, London in the hope of showcasing our artistic talents to a wider audience. This will provide an invaluable platform for us to build contacts and take the first step towards working in the creative industry.
In past years the annual auction has included works by numerous established artists, including Martin Creed, Andy Goldsworthy, Dan Hays, Bob and Roberta Smith, Hugh Locke, Kiki Smith, Lucy Orta and Ralph Steadman. This year we will be auctioning works by Jeremy Gardiner, Stephen Gill, Richard Wentworth and many more.
The Fine Art Auction will be taking place on Thursday 5th March in the Arts Bar at the Arts University Bournemouth, and is open to all. Guests will be given the opportunity to bid on student-donated work in the silent auction and more established artists’ work in a lively hammer auction. Whether you’re looking for a contemporary artwork for your home, or a unique gift for someone, we have a range of work to offer you, from screen-printed t-shirts to original drawings and paintings; there is something for everyone.
Join us in the Arts Bar at AUB on Thursday 5th March from 6pm-10pm.
