'Finding Centre' - Artist Led Walk for Dowsing Experience

About

1-1.5-hour easy walking, following dowsing lines in search of center points underground springs. Points will be chosen along the route where participants will be encouraged to pause and use their mobile phones to listen to new site-specific sound works created in response to field recordings captured during visits to Clerks Well as well as the invisible man-made energies such as Wi-Fi and radio signals surrounding us in our daily urban landscape.

Participants will be invited to consider 2 questions at the beginning and end of
the walk:

• What happens to us as we move through a landscape on foot?

• Do invisible forces connect us to our surroundings or repel us?

You are warmly invited to join us in sharing ideas and thoughts, listening and

mapping unseen energy before returning to White Conduit Project space for

some refreshments and informal conversation.
