About

Performing artists are:

Whiskey Chow who is a London-based artist, activist and Chinese drag king. Her work is interdisciplinary: performance, moving image, experimental sound, installation, and experimental printmaking. She will present a new performance: 300 Seconds. Chow embodies a hyper-masculine fantasy, moving fluidly between soft and hard through image and materiality. The performance, with singing bowl practitioner Leah, offers a sense of healing and connectivity, resonating in the “here and now”.  Within our bodies and around us; this is a gift to the queer community and the marginalised.

Danielle Wilde is a poet and writer from Yorkshire.  Her words have appeared in Vogue, Dazed, Stylist and the fevered dreamscapes of tracksuit nihilists across the North of England. Danielle will present an immersive sequence from her debut poetry collection North Sea Scrolls which examines class, culture, desire and the lost queer mythology of the North. Sound design by Tom Andrews.

Travis Alabanza is an award winning writer, performer and theatre maker. Their writing has appeared in the BBC, Guardian and Vice and had a fortnightly column in the Metro. For the performance they will be reading from None of the Above and sharing new writing from upcoming projects.

Campbell King is a transmasculine non-binary indie-pop musician and writer originally from the East Midlands. They’ve performed on bills with artists including Self Esteem, Tom Rasmussen and Peaches, and will be performing new songs from their upcoming EP.
