Female Trouble
28 Sep 2017 – 08 Oct 2017
The Bomb Factory Archway
London, United Kingdom
Free
Join us at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation for a screening of John Waters' 1974 cult film FEMALE TROUBLE.
A riotously funny bad-taste epic, this sick classic tells the depraved life story of obese criminal Dawn Davenport, following her from juvenile delinquency to early motherhood to dubious arts career to outright criminal.
The screening runs concurrently with The Bomb Factory Art Foundation's exhibition of the same name as part of the 2017 Art Licks Weekend.
The event is free but seating is limited and booking via EventBrite is advisable.
FEMALE TROUBLE is funded by Arts Council England Grants for the Arts, with kind donations from AbsolutePrint, and the generous support of local businesses: Hanley Estate Agency, Map Gift Shop, Tesco, Crisis, as well as the Whittington Community Centre & St John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
