About

Mixing an experimental, turbulent cocktail of sik screen poster art, film, geometric sculpture, 50s pin-ups, electronic invention, painting and tattoo, Feral Kingdom is a sensory overload of international work. Exhibiting artists include Zeloot, E*rock, Jelle Crama, Matthew Stone, The-O, Baldvin Ringsted, Lolly Batty and Dr Lakra. Sharing an interest in underground music, culture and style, many of the artists involved sit comfortably in the psychedelic realm, evoking the earlier waves of psychedelia in the 1960s and 1980s while affirming a new approach that is fresh, genuinely underground and free of cliche. Look out for an accompanying programme of film, music (see below) and talks starting with Ian Helliwell on 16 October at 7.30pm.
