About
26 artists working across textiles, ceramics, furniture, photography, painting and printmaking will be exhibited at Claptons's MKII warehouse.
COLLECTION 04 will showcase shoppable art pieces which bring character, texture and originality to a home.
Highlights of the collection include Alex Williamson’s witty, graffitied quilts; Freya Bramble-Carter’s organic sculptural fountains; Sofia Clausse’s delicate, hand-printed paper quilts; Moira Frith’s otherworldly watercolours and Louise Kaye's sculptural ceramic lamps.
COLLECTION 04 will be launched in a former dairy and warehouse space, providing opportunities to hang textiles from rafters, house ceramic installations and create scenes of artist-made furniture alongside paintings and works on paper.
During the exhibition FELT will host workshops with artists from COLLECTION 04. Recent RCA graduate Louise Benton leads a mono-printing workshop and Cast Knuckle Studio leads a jewellery making workshop. Places available at www.felt-collections.com.
