About

Falls The Shadow" is the theme of the latest series of works by mosaic artist Catherine Parkinson. Exploring the relationship between form and shadow, the pieces evolved from experiments in combining mosaic with painted images. By combining the contrasting characteristics of the mosaic medium with watercolours, the resulting images uniquely reflect the solid state of the object and the fleeting characteristic of its shadow.
