'Falling Garments', the latest exhibition at the London Arts Board by artist Hellena Hueck, accompanied by a song, 'A Friend of a Friend'.
About
‘Falling Garments’ is a series of wearable sculptures referring to the hagiography of the temptation of Saint Hilarion - a scene, throwing light on exactly this moment when fantasy quickly overwhelms historical description. Beyond this ancient reference, ‘Falling Garments’ explores stories of youth and becoming through distinctive romance and sassy details. The sculptures transform into characters for a screenplay. Sometimes set in a fantastic landscape. Sometimes hanging from the loop of a battled jeans - swinging with you down the road. You will find curious bodies, falling garments and some company.Accompanying 'Falling Garments' is a song ‘A Friend of a Friend’ (written by Hellena and performed together with Jakob Rava), scannable through a QR code at the London Arts Board, refers to anecdotes of adolescence and friendship: https://soundcloud.com/londonartsboard/friendofafriend-hellena-hueck-and-jakob-rava
