Thimble Collective proudly presents Fables and Fallacies, a week-long event showcasing a diverse array of artwork inspired by Carlo Collodi's timeless fairy tale, Pinocchio. This exhibition brings together artists who explore themes of disobedience, puppeteering, and guardianship—core elements that we believe resonate deeply in Collodi's original narrative.

Our aim is to foster a genuine connection between viewers and artists, creating an interactive environment that encourages meaningful dialogue. Tired of the one-way dynamic often found in contemporary mainstream art spaces, where viewers are merely told to observe, we strive to open up a space where engagement and conversation are paramount.

We’ve crafted an experience that encourages interaction and participation. Instead of simply viewing the artwork in silence, we invite you to actively engage. We’re hosting a Speed Night evening, where guests can explore the artworks, share their thoughts, have a mini flirt and connect with the art on a deeper level. To conclude the event, join us for a Tea and Cake meetup on the final day—an opportunity to collaborate, converse, and meet the artists in a relaxed, open environment.

15th April - TUESDAY - 10:00 - 17:50 - Public View  

16th April - WEDNESDAY - 10:00 - 17:50 - Public View

17th April - THURSDAY - 10:00 - 20:00 - Speed Dating Event (Taking the style of speed dating, we are going to have night where audience members are going to have speed session with each artwork,   leaving feedback, notes, comments, opinions, love stories etc) 

18th April - FRIDAY - 12:00 - 20:00 - Private View (This will include an Film Screening and Auction, where artists can sell their artwork)

19th April - SATURDAY - 12:00 - 19:00 - Coffee & Tea (audience members can come and chat with the artists and thimble, to see if they want to collaborate)
