Marc Heaton's Show and Extraordinary Gathering showcases a number of his latest portraits.
About
Marc Heaton a versatile Welsh artist was born in 1973 in Pontypridd South Wales, educated in welsh, a fluent welsh speaker. He graduated with a B.A in Fine Art from Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design in London 1996. His lecturers were Eileen Cooper R.A and Maurice Cockrill R.A. He has been producing artwork for over two decades.
As a young boy, he spent a lot of time in France, he realised early that his talents and interests lay in his observational skills,of people, sailors, the circus, day to day characters on the streets, bars, restaurants. Through his artwork he has tried to capture theses lasting images and has been influenced by the likes of Chagall, Miro, Matisse, Picasso, Ronald Searle, and early Punch illustrator's.
