Pinas is also a popular term used in the Philippines, a short version of the Tagalog word Pilipinas. As a slang term, it refers to or about the Philippines. EXPOsition de PiNAS is an organized public affair, a display of industrial and artistic productions, designed usually to promote trade and to reflect cultural progress. Expositions have also been important for the emphasis on scientific, technological innovations and modern techniques in the visual art making. On exhibit are Print reproductions from the Original artworks of various participating International Contemporary Artists.
