Agata Nowak is taking part in Exploring the Journey Exhibition curated by Croydon College
About
Exploring the world through creativity, this exhibition is organised by Croydon School of Art. Exploring the Journey features work of dual practitioners from the Creative Arts team at Croydon College. This body of work was chosen by the Head of School Natalie Garner.
Rebecca Cartwright de Fontenelle is a painter currently working on a series of portraits depicting the Anglican congregation of St James's Church Piccadilly. Tony Croydon is a photographer and here he invites us to engage with his fascination with the 19th Century by going on a psychographic journey through the North Downs. Levy Goff is a mixed-media artist who prioritises sustainability and is working with reclaimed woods from local areas. Thomas Jedski is a filmmaker and his upcoming documentary 'Behind the steam' explores the traditional model making and filming methods used to create the original ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’ TV series. Ceramist Agata Nowak's practice directly involves marginalised and vulnerable communities and her current installation reflects on homelessness.
