About
Join local textile designer and sponsor of the exhibition, Vanessa Arbuthnott, for an informal gallery talk looking at the influence Lucienne Day has had on her work.
Vanessa was born in Cumbria and spent several formative years in a very creative ‘Arts and Crafts’ school on the banks of Lake Windermere. In 2000 Vanessa started a mail order fabric business from her kitchen table in Gloucestershire, which is now centered in a shop and showroom in Cirencester, a walk 5 mins from New Brewery Arts
