A rare opportunity to attend an illustrated talk by internationally renowned, Stroud based, artist Neville Gabie who passes through places while places pass through him
About
Whilst referencing some of his more familiar public projects on the Olympic Park London and elsewhere, Neville will focus his talk around an ongoing body of drawings and film-based performance work entitled ‘Experiments in Black and White.’ Initiated during the four-month period he spent as artist with the British Antarctic Survey at the remote Halley Base [2008/09] the work is a personal exploration of materials, process and place.
