About
You’ll be elevating everyday objects and giving them new meaning, bringing romance to mundane scenes and stories, and making normal realities into magical creations.
Using a multitude of techniques you’ll create your own contemporary artworks by taking to the streets, turning trash into treasure, discovering back stories, and using chips and ketchup in a completely new way…
Artist, Beccy McCray, will be on hand with advice and encouragement and all the materials required to help you curate your very own guerrilia-style pop-up exhibition at the end of it.
This workshop is suitable for 9-16 year olds through to adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Participants should bring a digital camera or camera phone + leads to download photographs.
Please note that part of this workshop takes place outside of the gallery walls, by participating in this workshop you understand that you are responsible for your own safety.
