- FREE CITY BUS The gallery is on the FreeCityBus route operated Monday – Saturday between 9.30am and 3pm.
- The gallery is 0.3 miles from Wakefield Kirkgate train station (approximately 8 minutes walk) and 1 mile from Westgate train station (approximately 20 minutes walk).
This two day workshop is an ideal opportunity to explore experimental linocut printmaking using oil based inks with print-maker Bobshaped.
About
Participants will learn how to mark/cut their own lino plates, and how to ink and print them, layering colour and texture to produce bold colourful contemporary prints to take home.
Please note that this is a two part worlshop with the first part taking place on 13 Feb and the second on 20 Feb.
About the tutor
Bobshaped works across linocut, colle de chine, screenprint and letterpress among other mediums, selling her own fine art prints at exhibitions and events across Yorkshire. As a print tutor she has taught printmaking at The Hepworth Wakefield, Wakefield Cathedral, Wakefield Art Club and The Art House, Wakefield.
