Experimental Life Drawing

About

This course is designed for those wishing to take a fresh and open approach to Life Drawing. It will be experientially-led with the aim of understanding the role of drawing as a means of not only expression, but as a primary approach of understanding the creative process. The class will focus on the possibility of drawing- not the how of drawing. It will suit all those undertaking Life Drawing for the first time and those wishing to take a fresh uninhibited approach to their personal practice. The individual needs of the student are the central focus of the sessions and there is no ‘house style' or right or wrong way of drawing- it is an individual journey that is at the heart of these sessions. The only requirement for the course is that you are willing to risk making spectacular failures! Easels, boards, paper (20p donation per sheet) and basic drawing materials provided. But please bring additional drawing materials if you prefer your own. Please note: these 12 sessions are spread over 13 weeks. *There is no class on the 24th Sept.*
