Fantastic evening for Peter Brook fans. Friday 16th March at 7.30pm A talk by the author of the new Peter Brook book ‘A life in Paintings' Following the long awaited release of the latest and ultimate Peter Brook book; ‘A Life in Painting' Steven Lord, owner of the Harrison Lord Gallery has been inspired to arrange for the author Stuart Archer to give a free talk on the life and work of Peter Brook. As many people will know, Peter was a regular at the Merrie England Coffee Shop and it seemed fitting this should be the venue for the talk. Keith Hanselmann owner of Merrie England and Peter Brook fan was keen to support the event. Stuart Archer worked with David Walker to produce the large hardback book which journeys through the artists' creative life, and details his influences and inspirations along the way.
