Thinkspace Projects presents two brand new solo exhibitions and additional work in their viewing room.

In Gallery One, Evoca1’s debut west coast solo show ‘Sanctuary’ embodies Evoca1’s agenda to merge art and humanity into a single creation. With photorealistic works that have a delicate quality, he conveys the nuances of human life and emotion. ‘Sanctuary’ transports viewers to a future where a group of children navigate a desolate earth, armed with their open minds, a love of nature, and a yearning for community.

In Gallery Two, Tran Nguyen’s fifth solo show with the gallery. ‘Remedy’ focuses on the complicated relationship between humans and nature. ‘Remedy’ is a utopian world where a small human population and a variety of flora and fauna coexist in a symbiotic relationship, giving way to magical species and fantastical visuals. Nguyen’s work emphasizes the beauty of a synergistic relationship, one where humans are not the destroying force, but rather live in harmony creating true magic.

In the viewing room, the group show ‘Happy Place’ will be on display, based on the #ThinkspaceHappyPlace contest held by the gallery during the Covid-19 lockdown Summer 2020. Over 300 artists submitted versions of their happy place, a place that they escaped to in order to survive mentally through the past year. From there, Thinkspace chose 21 submissions and asked them to each submit a work measuring 30x30cm that kept with the theme of the original contest, creating this all new show. Be happy.
