About

Eva Mitera Three Colours

Exhibition curator Dr Shih Mei Lee

27 January - 25 March 2018

Three Colours exhibition is dedicated to exploration of primary colours, the palette of each artwork is reduced to three colours. Those three primaries are as starting point, but the final artwork combines them into a range of unexpected tones. Primary colours, tone and light are main focus point of Eva’s creative explorations, depending on medium the outcome is different, oil paintings full of dynamic all prima oil paint structure rich in colour, watercolors with spectrum of bright hues. Digital artworks presented on this exhibition, created on Adobe Photoshop have smooth finish, the three primary colours smoothly morph into unexpected feast of hues, tones of colours. For the first time she will present her colour experiments in digital artworks on an exhibition, previously those artworks were presented in collector publication.
