Ethel Loves Me presents exhibition by artist who paints using only her hands, creating work that can hung in any direction.
About
As a continuation of their series of mini exhibitions by talented local artists, Ethel Loves Me in Rye is proud to present the work of extraordinary artist SJ Rivers from local village Appledore, whose intuitive abstract paintings are made using only her hands.
Inspired by her 15 years spent as a fashion designer and the skyscapes of the local Kent and Sussex coasts, she paints from memory using colour and layers of emotion, creating works which can be rotated and hung in any direction.
The exhibition runs at Ethel Loves Me until 7th August and the store and gallery is open daily.
