Art Axcess Gallery is delighted to announce a solo exhibition by the Ukrainian contemporary artist Feros. The exhibition, "Escape from Reality," will showcase an immersive collection of 10 artworks, masterfully weaving together elements of abstraction and representation.

About

This exhibition will commence on November 9 at our physical location in West Hollywood and will also be available for online viewing through our partner Artsy.net.

Feros is celebrated for his compelling and thought-provoking works that push the boundaries of reality. His artwork offers a profound exploration of trauma, resilience, and the depth of emotions experienced during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

"The exhibition is a haunting embodiment of the trauma, resilience, and depth of emotions experienced during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The very title of the artwork encapsulates a feeling that many across the world can resonate with – the yearning to detach oneself from the harsh realities and retreat into a world of dreams, even if momentarily," said Lia Snisarenko, the owner of the gallery.

Key artworks on display include "Escape from Reality," "Atlas," "Dawn after Eclipse," "Crooked Mirror," and "Awakening." Each piece encapsulates Feros' talent for expressing his emotions through symbols and storytelling, inviting viewers to connect with the artwork on a deeply personal level.

"Escape from Reality" is a complex maze of symbolic elements, each representing a different facet of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. The artist's intricate symbolism invites viewers to contemplate the existential nature of war, the resilience of the human spirit, and the enduring hope for peace and freedom.

"Atlas" explores the intricate interplay between societal pressures and individual responsibility, inspired by the ancient titan Atlas. It celebrates the delicate balance between the individual and society, tradition and modernity, and the masks we wear versus our hidden true selves.

"Dawn after Eclipse" is a multilayered masterpiece that delves into the profound theme of internal and external struggle. The painting masterfully juxtaposes surreal elements with stark realities, prompting introspection and a deeper understanding of the human condition.

"Crooked Mirror" intrigues with its dream-like scene, blending vivid hues and abstract shapes. It can be seen as a commentary on the complexities of self-perception and the myriad ways we perceive and represent ourselves.

Lastly, "Awakening" embodies resilience and personal evolution, standing as an enduring testament to the cyclical nature of life and the potential for rebirth, even in the most tragic of times.

The exhibition promises an immersive exploration of the artist's imaginative landscapes, inviting viewers to question their perceptions and explore new dimensions of understanding.
