A collection of work reflecting the natural architecture and seasonal variation of Epping Forest .
About
Large portraits of ancient pollard beeches are offset by smaller brightly emblematic paintings of fruits and flowers. A series of black and white linocuts present scenes from the history and the mythology of the forest.
The exhibition will be dominated by a large triptych, dramatic and elegiac in tone.
Emily works mainly from life, and though she lives in London is drawn to those stubborn wild places on its periphery.
