On Friday February 3 rd the Edarcom Europa gallery, in via Macedonia 12 in Rome, will open "Sogni fuori dal cassetto",  a solo exhibition dedicated to the work of the Master Enrico Benaglia, curated by Francesco Ciaffi and Alice Crisponi.
Painter, sculptor, engraver, set designer, Enrico Benaglia is an all-round artist who has enriched the Italian and international artistic scene with a unique and extremely recognizable stylistic code. The Master has immediately conveyed his creative effort in search of a new and personal expressive language; the result is a poetic testimony that is beyond stylistic comparisons, unique, able to describe his own inner world and, at the same time, communicate familiarity to the collective unconscious.
It is with the gracefulness of a piece of paper that the dreamy figures hover in Benaglia’s paintings, inhabiting dreamlike atmospheres and fantastic settings. His city views, seascapes, architectural complexes are essential but not bare. The compositions of the Master are synthesis of feelings and existential issues stripped of all their heaviness and transposed into an immediate dimension, sincere and unsettling as the sincerity of childhood. And it is in these childish worlds that the Master Enrico Benaglia invites us to get lost…to find ourselves again.
On display about forty works including oil paintings, pastels and bronze sculptures from the gallery’s collection. And in the graphic salon you can also discover the beautiful lithographs, silkscreens and etchings of this important Roman artist.
