Encounters Short Film and Animation festival is currently accepting submissions for our 2015 International Competition. Submissions are open to short films from every genre including animation, documentary, drama, experimental or artist film. Films must be no longer than 30 minutes including credits. The final deadline is 5th June.

Filmmakers in competition can become eligible for some of the world’s most prestigious short film and animation awards: the BAFTAs, the Oscars®, the European Film Awards and the Cartoon d’Or.
