Are you under 30, and self-defined disabled? Interested in a career in the arts and creative industries? Then read on ...
Shape’s 2015 Professional Skills and Mentoring Development programme kicks off young disabled peoples' career's and links them with employers in the cultural and creative industries.
If you are a young disabled creative aged between 18 to 29 and ready to progress your career, then please get in touch with us. We are especially looking for young adults wanting to work in the visual or performing arts, music or with creative digital media.
The programme covers a range of areas such as career planning, employment options, marketing/social media, leadership and interview skills, combined with ongoing mentoring support and connections to get into creative sectors.
78% of young participants in last year’s group succeeded in accessing further opportunities such as setting up their own enterprises or starting internships.
