The most complete study of cameraless photography to date. This exhibition explores the art of cameraless photography, encompassing historical, modern and contemporary works.

About

Incorporating Len Lye’s photograms, Emanationsis the most complete study of this form of photography, considering the cameraless mode from its inception in the 1820s through to contemporary practice, and within a global context.

Historical works held in New Zealand and Australian national and state collections are the foundation of this contribution to a landmark global exposition on the history of photography.
