This is a performance show for anyone interested to watch a suspension performed live. A one-of-a-kind unique experience in KL's art scene, this performance will showcase the expertise of a shibari master who has fine-tuned their skills and craft over 10 years.
About
Shibari Malaysia is KL's first hub that offers rope art classes that are centered around mindfulness, sensuality and creative expression. Shibari is a traditional Japanese binding art, which tranlates to "to tie". Our practice uses traditional techniques which we incorporate in a modern way to elicit emotions that center around self-love, acceptance and to create a space for healthy intimacy with self and partner through a mindfulness approach.
Our aim and focus is on connection to the self and sensuality. We believe that a healthy attitude towards our sensuality is key for a better relationship with our self-esteem, and thus with our partner.
We also thrive on carving out creativity within individuals, especially those who think they are not creative to begin with. Our workshops and teaching methodology caters space to bring out your creativity, through the simple techniques of rope art.

Attendees will be able to see the expertise it takes to suspend a person using only ropes, in a way that is safe and skillful. Do not attempt on your own, but come be mesmerized in a performance show.
