About
She takes her inspiration from a range of historical depictions of women: this can be other artists (the stance in A Shortcut to Sensation is taken directly from a Mucha painting), pornographic photography or suggestive advertising imagery. The original sources are all alike in that they idealise women in various levels of submission <ETH> these women are all sexualised objects packaged for the male admirer.
