Cadogan Contemporary is delighted to announce the upcoming exhibition of new work by Elise Ansel, 'Fusion of Horizons'.
About
Alive with references from familiar compositions by Masters such as Vermeer, Titian and Goya, this new exhibition firmly grounds Ansel's commitment to the canon of Western art and recognises her own place within contemporary painting.
It has been an extremely successful year for the American painter; selected by RA Jock McFadyen as one to see in the 2015 Summer Exhibition as well as being highly-noted in The Daily Norm review, Ansel's painting sold at the opening. Regularly featured in the weekly curated selection on Saatchi Art, Ansel has been a recurring highlight in the Young Masters|Dialogues tour in London and New York. In addition, her solo exhibitions at both Ellsworth Gallery in Santa Fe, NM and Phoenix Gallery in New York, NY received stellar reviews.
