Extraordinary award winning artist, Eleri Mills, creates an exhibition inspired by the local history, mystery & mystical nature of the Welsh countryside.
About
At Thackeray Gallery from 14th March, a solo show of paintings by renowned Welsh artist Eleri Mills. ”We are delighted that Eleri has her place in Thackeray Gallery – a remarkable talent, with such an original voice. Whether it is her stitched or drawn line, Eleri manages to capture a lyricism in colour and shape that does not tire. Almost dream-like and yet inspired by reality” comments Sarah Macdonald-Brown, Gallery Director.
Her multi-layered work transports the viewer into a mythic landscape, inspired by her native Wales. As Ambassador to Welsh art in America, Eleri has established a worldwide reputation as one of Wales’s leading contemporary artists and her work is held in collections worldwide.
