ELECTRICITY is a new channel for the arts that transmits the spirited creative output of diverse and dynamic cities around the globe one after another through a series of exhibitions. It plugs us directly into the culture-zeitgeist of a worldwide network of cities that are charged with new impulses generated by talents from across the fields of art, fashion and music
The current edition taps into CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA, a hub of buzzing potential and passions, from where an array of artists, photographers, fashion designers, filmmakers, music producers, dis and queer culture-makers are pushing their vibrant creative energy out into the world. At a time when national borders no longer circumscribe our aspirations and imagination, nor our ability to identity, we are ready to regroup our forces, go out and form new alliances and new forms of connection that can deliver power to everyone involved.
