A project inspired by an ancient maritime pathway from Bideford to Dartmouth
Ed has been researching, walking and creating art work in response to the Mariners Way for nearly 3 years. This has resulted in a large and varied body of work that marks each step of the 73 mile walk. The centrepiece of the project is a tarred, marlin rope sculpture that has transformed over this period into different forms as it has been exhibited across the region. This exhibition will mark amongst other works the final transformation of the piece before it returns to its home in the collection of the University of Exeter.
